ROOST
Connecting travelers with the right ROOST location
- Case Study
Client
ROOST Apartment Hotels combines apartment-style accommodations with boutique hotel services for business travel, relocation, and longer stays. With locations in cities including Philadelphia, Detroit, Cleveland, and Tampa, the brand offers the independence of residential living in distinct urban neighborhoods. Each property needs to be easy to find through searches for its city, accommodations, and surrounding area.
Partnership
Gourmet Marketing’s work with ROOST began around four years ago. We serve as its hotel marketing agency across multiple markets, managing advertising, SEO, and ongoing website development as the portfolio grows. We developed and launched the brand’s website and have supported new hotel openings throughout the partnership. Working as an extension of ROOST’s digital marketing department, we develop content and adjust the website and campaigns around each location’s needs.
Work
Connecting each search with the right property
We built ROOST’s website around dedicated location pages, so searches for an apartment hotel in a particular city lead travelers toward the relevant property. Each page brings together its accommodations and neighborhood information. This structure supports SEO across multiple hotel locations, while giving travelers a clear path from a destination search to the property they are considering.
A website built for new locations
We designed and developed ROOST’s website in HubSpot CMS as a modular system. Each new property can use the established design and page structure, allowing a complete location website to be prepared and published within a few days, with the development and SEO foundations already in place.
That gives ROOST a website that can grow with the portfolio. New locations can launch quickly without rebuilding the site each time, while we continue to refine the content and design around each property’s needs.
Bringing travelers into the brand through Explore Hub
We extended the location strategy with Explore Hub, our digital travel guide product. Guides to nearby attractions, restaurants, and bars introduce ROOST to people researching a trip, before they have decided where to stay. The content connects those early travel questions with the relevant hotel and its neighborhood.
Explore Hub pairs that content with map technology to show how close each hotel is to the places travelers want to visit. We use this geographic context in our SEO and AI optimization work to make the relationship between the property and its surroundings clearer for discovery through Google and platforms such as ChatGPT.
Explore Hub also supports our hotel advertising strategy by adding detailed destination content that Google’s AI Max for Search campaigns can use to match relevant searches. Where text customization and final URL expansion are enabled, eligible guide pages can also inform ad copy and landing-page selection. This connects our destination content with paid search, while the property pages help travelers move toward booking.
