Hotel Advertising Expertise Media Strategy by Hotel Type
01

Luxury Hotels

Luxury demand depends on more than reach. We protect rate and brand perception, reach high value guests, and measure media against booking value and direct revenue, not inexpensive clicks.

Boutique and Lifestyle Hotels

Distinctive hotels compete through their story, design, neighborhood, and guest experience. We turn those differences into search, social, and retargeting campaigns that build interest and capture direct demand.

Resorts and Destination Hotels

Seasonality, feeder markets, packages, and longer booking windows shape the plan. We align paid search, metasearch, social, and video with the moments when guests dream, compare, and book.

Frequently Asked Questions

What hoteliers ask us first.

What does hotel advertising include?

Hotel advertising can include paid search across Google and Microsoft, Google Hotel Ads and other metasearch platforms, paid social, display and retargeting, video, and emerging AI advertising channels. We build the scope around each hotel. You can engage us for one channel, a selected group of channels, or a complete media program.

How do you decide which advertising channels a hotel should use?

We review historical performance, analytics, traffic sources, available market data, competitor activity, booking patterns, need periods, and revenue goals. We benchmark current channels first. When a channel has no history, we test it with a clear budget and measurement plan, then evaluate the incremental revenue it contributes.

How do you measure hotel advertising performance?

Success is measured at both the channel and business levels. Booking engine conversion tracking connects campaign activity with completed reservations and booking value. We review the tracking between the hotel website and booking engine so performance reporting reflects the reservation journey. Depending on the channel, we monitor click through rate, impression share, conversion rate, look to book ratio, cost per acquisition, return on ad spend, booking revenue, and total direct revenue. We also align reporting with the hotel’s business goals and help define the right channel benchmarks.

Do you manage Google Hotel Ads and hotel metasearch?

Yes. We use our own platform to manage Google Hotel Ads and selected metasearch channels.

Can you work with our revenue and marketing teams?

Yes. For most clients, we report to marketing and work closely with revenue. We join marketing and revenue meetings when useful so priorities, need periods, offers, budgets, and performance remain aligned. We also work with ownership, general managers, sales teams, and other partners involved in the hotel’s commercial plan.

Do you manage advertising for hotel groups and management companies?

Yes. We create consistent portfolio standards for measurement, reporting, and oversight, while each hotel receives its own strategy based on its market, guests, stage, and revenue priorities. That balance is central to our work as a hotel marketing agency.

How much does hotel advertising management cost?

Management is priced as a custom flat fee based on the hotel, market, number of advertising channels, media budget, reporting needs, and level of support. We begin with an audit, define the scope, and provide a custom proposal. We do not use pay for performance or revenue share pricing.

How are advertising spend and platform payments handled?

Media spend is separate from our management fee. Most clients pay Google, Meta, Microsoft, and other platforms directly through their own accounts. When we pay media platforms on a client’s behalf, an additional handling fee calculated as a percentage of media spend applies.

How do you recommend an advertising budget?

We consider your revenue goals, market demand, competition, room inventory, seasonality, need periods, current channel performance, and available opportunities. When historical data is limited, we begin with controlled tests, set a benchmark, and expand investment where incremental revenue supports it.

How soon can we evaluate performance?

Paid channels begin producing data quickly, but a reliable review depends on traffic volume, conversion tracking, the hotel’s booking window, and seasonality. We set a baseline, test with purpose, and assess performance over a period that reflects how guests research and book the property.
