Gourmet Marketing is a leading digital agency specializing in hotel and hospitality marketing. We help independent hotels and boutique hospitality brands worldwide drive direct bookings and measurable revenue growth through data-driven digital strategy, paid media, SEO, social, and web development. 

The Senior Digital Account Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of client success — from strategy development and project oversight to communication and performance reporting. You’ll manage a set of hotel clients, ensuring their digital marketing programs (SEO, paid media, social, and web) are aligned with business goals, seasonal trends, and revenue targets.

This role requires agency experience, strong strategic thinking, and the ability to balance multiple clients across time zones. You’ll work remotely from South Africa, following U.S. business hours.

  • Serve as the main liaison between hotel clients and internal teams, ensuring all projects and campaigns meet client expectations and deadlines.

  • Develop and guide integrated digital marketing strategies across SEO, paid media, social, and web design/development.

  • Lead regular performance meetings, presenting data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (SEO, advertising, design, development, and content) to align execution with strategy.

  • Anticipate client needs and proactively identify opportunities for improvement or growth.

  • Oversee campaign tracking, reporting, and deliverables to ensure measurable outcomes and transparency.

  • Manage client budgets, timelines, and overall satisfaction.

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing account management, preferably in an agency setting.

  • Strong understanding of SEO, paid media, analytics, and web project workflows.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.

  • Proven ability to create and present marketing strategies with clear ROI impact.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

  • Experience working with international clients or across time zones.

  • Must be based in South Africa and able to work U.S. business hours.

Base Salary: USD $3,000 – $4,000 per month, depending on experience and performance.

Performance Bonus:

  • After 3 Years: Up to 10% annual bonus recognizing strategic impact and leadership.

  • After 5 Years: Up to 20% annual bonus for sustained excellence, innovation, and contribution to agency growth.

Annual Review: Compensation is reviewed yearly based on performance, client impact, and overall agency growth.

Employment Type: Independent Contractor (Full-time, long-term). The candidate will be responsible for managing and remitting all applicable local taxes, insurance, and statutory obligations in their country of residence.
