All customers have to do is plug in the code “4HEROES” when ordering through the website or mobile app, and Chipotle will donate a burrito to a healthcare worker.
Chipotle plans on donating a total of 100,000 burritos to the healthcare heroes in the U.S. Starting May 6th, doctors and nurses can visit their donation application site to request burritos for their medical facility.
This program is yet another way Chipotle remains committed to supporting the healthcare workers across the country. Chipotle recently launched a new e-gift card program that gives back to the healthcare community. The “Thank You” e-gift card is available for purchase online, and Chipotle will match 10% of every gift card purchase.
Proceeds will go towards Direct Relief, an organization that provides PPE and essential medical items to healthcare workers in the U.S. and around the world. The donation will add up to a maximum of $250,000. The “Thank You” e-gift cards can be purchased through May 31st.
