After some dismal weather in NYC after the last week or so, the sun has finally come out…and for those who live near Williamsburg, that means hitting the park! I spend most of my time in McCarran Park near the Bedford stop on the L train, in between Greenpoint and Williamsburg. With a group of mates, a frisbee and some cleverly disguised chilled white wine, the day is perfect. When it’s time for lunch or dinner, I’m headed over to Lokal (on Nassau and Lorimer). So far, the best Turkish food I have found in the area, and the Mediterranean food is perfect for the warming weather.
